There are around 8 pumpkins in the patch right now. They just turned " orange" a week or so ago. I am hoping they will grow a lot bigger....I suppose they will since we have three more months before Halloween. That is, if they don't rot or an animal decides to eat them. I think they are my favorite out of everything we grew in the gardens. We also have a lot of gourds growing. ....... from little decorative ones, to big ones to use as birdhouses. I can't believe how this summer has flown by and all the fun we had with the gardens. I'm getting ready to pull everything up ( not the pumpkins and gourds) and till so I can plant a small winter garden. I hope it's as much fun as the summer one was.
