Yesterday, I was riding " little red" ( my new mower)down to the garden and as I came around the corner to the garden, I gasped! Something had gotten into the garden and knocked over a lot of our corn. My first thought was a deer jumped the fence but the more I looked at it, I decided it was a raccoon. I jumped off my mower and walked back to the house site to tell Chuck that I wanted an " electric fence" now...lol. Troy and Chuck laughed at me. Troy said they haven't had any problems with their garden because they have a dog. I'm NOT getting no dang dog!!! I have thought about renting one of the BNOE though...ha. I could tie " Fern" out by the garden at night. ..but then I'd have to clean up dog poop....no thanks.
