Yesterday was our weekly " in town day". We try and do all of our errands in one day. It doesn't always happen that way but most of the time it does. First stop was at " Gobble Fite" lumber yard to pick out our windows, doors, siding and shingles for the house. Can you believe we are picking stuff out already?... it's fun...I love it!!!! We picked the pretty front door that is in the picture. ( it will all be painted white ) I thought it was going to cost too much to have such a pretty front door but it wasn't at all. It's amazing of the prices of things up here. The siding we are picking has a little bead on the edge and has a wood grain pattern. Picking the interior doors was really fun....I could pick which ever one I wanted because they are all the same price. Didn't really have a choice on the shingles because if I wanted green, they only have the one kind. After all of the " picking out" it was lunch time and we tried this little Italian restaurant in the old section of town. It was nice not having " fast food" as we usually grab on days like this. Next stop was Walmart and then Publix for our weekly groceries.
Well, after raining off and on for two days, it has stopped and the workers are here to continue laying the block in the basement again. If the rain holds off, they should be done in a couple of days....and pouring the floor will be next.

I'll bet you and Chuckles didn't waltz down the aisles of Publix with your cart now, did ya?!?!? That's when doing groceries was fun.
