Strawberry days

Saturday, we left at 8:30 to go to " Strawberry days" in Cullman. It was in full swing when we got there. Part of it was at the " farmer's market". There were all kinds of herbs and veggies to buy and of course plenty of strawberries. The berries were so pretty and sweet. They even came in a cute box that I can use to put veggies in from the garden. There was a park across the street where they had all the arts and craft booths. I bought a little bird picture for the sun room of the house, then we had "homemade ice cream" ( there is nothing like homemade ice cream). They had a John Deere motor turning three ice cream freezers...lol. There were some old cars and tractors all along two streets. Oh yeah.....I got to see what it was like to milk a cow.....which was a lot easier to milk than the real cow that I milked at the Florida State Fair, last year. All in all, "strawberry days" was fun. I'm sure we will go again next year.
