Hartselle

Saturday when we were suppose to go to the " strawberry days in Moulton" but ended up doing different fun things all day, with one of them being going to Hartselle to go " junking". We came across this one neat store that wasn't a " junking store" but an antique store and the owner was this really nice, funny man. He talked to us for several minutes and told us some stories and asked all about us. We ended up buying a coke crate for only $3. Chuck came up with the idea that we could put our bottled water in it....and it worked! We also saw this antique metal watering can but didn't buy it. Yesterday, after going to town for most of the day and after seeing how much new metal watering cans were, we decided we should go back and get the antique one because not only was it neat, but cheaper than the new ones. When we went back into the store, the man remembered us and he told us when we were in there, where we were from and that we had moved up here from St. Petersburg, Florida. It's like we were his new " best friends". That is just how the people are up here.
