The daffodils have been up for about a month now but the first blooms appeared last weekend when we had a beautiful warm day. Daffodils are such "happy" flowers. Bright and oddly shaped. I love them! With never being able to grow them in Florida, I have been planting them all around the house. We even have a big bed of them down by the barn. They are so cheery to have in the house after this super, duper cold winter we have had this year. It may still be cold outside right now, but Spring is just around the corner. The daffodils say so.
