Last weekend there was a "pre-July 4th" party at our little country corner store. There were free hot dogs and drinks and as our BNOE called it, " a redneck band" playing. I think there must have been 300 people there! Everyone was enjoying themselves with singing and dancing while they ate their free food. It had to be a "first" for Five Points. There was even a cop there directing the traffic jam....ha When it became dark, there was a "fire works show". We walked back home to the BNOE's pasture and sat in our chairs, drinking a glass of wine, watching a really good show. Just like "uptown!!!"
