Camp Brambly Pines

Where do you sleep NINE people?  ......Thank goodness for the TT !  I made a " girls dorm" with cots ( thank you for the idea Lady Melanie) in the living room.  Each girl had their own, cot, night table with their name embroidered on the little table cloth, their own lamp and matching pillow cases with their names on those.  There was pop corn, peanuts,drinks in the refrig, games to play and movies to watch.  Papa and I gave Hannah and Taylor charm bracelets with their initial and 2011 charms on them.  Genavive has a bracelet that we gave her the first time she came to visit Brambly Pines.   Then, when they got back from picking in the garden, I gave them strawberry charms and on July 4th, the three girls got flag charms.  I hope they wear their bracelets and remember the July 4th they spent at Oona and Papa's.  Oh yeah...back to where everyone slept.  Ryan and Nicole slept in the double bed in the bedroom of the TT and Lily Ryan slept in the port a crib that Ryan slept in when he was a baby and we would drive to Alabama to Gene and George's house.  Shell opted to sleep on the back porch in the IKEA bed we bought a couple of months ago.  Other than the noise of the frogs, cicadas and the neighbor's dogs barking....she said it wasn't bad out there.  Thank goodness it cools down at night because it sure was HOT during the day.
