Did you know that you can cut your Christmas Poinsettias and put them in a vase, like cut flowers? I never thought about doing it until I saw that Gene and her Mom had done it when we went down this last trip. Since I was getting a little tired of the poinsettias being on the floor by the fireplace, since way before Christmas, I decided to cut them and enjoy them just a little longer. The plants themselves, have been cut back and put in the green house. ( here's to hoping they will come back and bloom for next year) Nope, we still don't have the fireplace screen....suppose to be done this week. We don't really need it for the next couple of days...it's going to be in the 60's......awwww....summer....lol. ...will be spending the day outside for sure.
