Our Christmas Parade

For some reason, we missed last years Christmas Parade. I'm sure glad we got to go this year though. It was fun! We didn't know what to expect and man were we surprised on how many people were there. There are only 4,000 people in Moulton and we joked..that we thought all of them were at the parade. That's the most people we have seen since we moved here. The parade went all the way around the town square and there were people lining both sides of the streets..all the way around. We took our folding chairs and sat on the hill of the front yard of the Court House. It was perfect for seeing everything. I was really impressed with the bands. They were really good for small town bands. The floats were fun and of course there were lots of tractors. I told Chuck that I thought every horse that lived in Lawrence country was in the parade. Lots and lots of horses at the end of the parade. It made me want a horse, just so I could ride it in the parade...ha. The parade was just long enough since it was cold out. We came home and had a cup of hot apple cider. A nice way to end the evening of fun.
