One of Chuck's present...a wet stone
Hat I had knitted for Teresa.
Brambly Pines Bed and Breakfast sure has been busy lately. Thursday morning, we got up early to drive down to the Birmingham airport to pick up a friend of ours from Florida.....Teresa. She was coming to stay for four days which we crammed in some of the fun things to do up here. ( we always seem to run out of time ) The first day, we just toured Brambly Pines and got caught up on things. I think half of her suit case was full of presents for both Chuck and I. It was really fun opening all of them. ...which took awhile. There was a pretty apron made from a vintage table cloth, a snowman table runner, a stationary kit, herb markers made from spoons, body spray, bath salts, soap, two beautiful mugs with birds on them, a couple of " to do list tablets" and several tools and things for Chuck to use in the barn. She even brought a bag of cranberry loaf cakes and orange cream cheese to go with them. It was like a real party!! Friday, Teresa and I went shopping. Of course one of the places we went was " Rodens". It's one of our favorite places to shop. ...most of the stuff there is 75% off. Then, we went into Decatur to go to Hobby Lobby and have lunch at Zaxby's. ( no Zaxby's down around Teresa's) We hurried home so I could fix our " southern meal" of collards, black-eyed peas and meat loaf. ...before going to Moulton's Christmas Parade.
