First company!

We had our "first company" in the house at Brambly Pines. I was so excited to have them come. I felt like a little kid all day Saturday, waiting on Joyce and Cathie to get here. Not only was it great to see them and have them see Brambly Pines BUT they brought me a dozen donuts from the donut shop in Dothan that is on the " 100 places to eat in Alabama before you die". ( Shell told them about the shop and how we've been trying to get those donuts) OMG! they were the best donuts that I have ever eaten! Chuck and I have tried to figure out how to get those donuts for a couple of years now and now we can stop trying. Although, they were so good, I'd like some more....ha. I took Cathie and Joyce on " the tour" starting with the garden, then the TT and we walked over to see the BNOE and Bush hog. Next was the barn and " the girls". We ended up having an " Alabama dinner" ( dinner after 8:00 pm). We had hor d`oeuvres on the front porch, dinner in the dining room and dessert in the sun room. .....chatting the whole time. It's the kind of company that you don't want to go to bed at night....you just want to stay up talking the whole night. The time went by so fast. They loved Brambly Pines and we loved having them here.
