Basement temp steps
It seems like things have slowed down on the house a little but this and that have been done....along with the dry wall hangers coming today. They put the ceilings up in the living room, my studio, the hall bath and Chuck's room....then started on the walls. The framers put the siding up around the garage door, the ceiling up on the back porch and the roofers finished putting the shingles on. Yesterday, we went to pick out the color of our cabinets and the counter tops. The cabinets are going to made out of alder wood....it's soooo pretty. My counter tops are going to look like granite. I can't wait to see it all come together. It won't be long now. We should be enjoying our first real " fall" sitting on our porch swing on the front porch of the house. Hopefully my pumpkins that are growing in the garden right now, will be sitting on the front steps.
