The back porch

The " worker B's" put the joists and part of the wood floor down for the back porch. They are going to leave the screen off of it until we move in so the screen doesn't get torn and we can put things through the sides of the porch, to make it easier to move the furniture in. Once we get all moved in, they will come back and put the screen up. Pretty good idea! The dry wall guys were here today also. They have all the ceilings done in the whole house, but the kitchen and hall ways. After everyone left this afternoon, I mowed the yard and the yard behind the barn and in front of the "mansion". We're getting ready for our best friends, Gene and George to come up for a couple of days. They haven't been up here since we moved. It should be a fun time. Just a few minutes ago, a BIG delivery truck came with all the wood for the posts and railings to the front porch. I guess they will finish the floor on the back porch and start on the front one, tomorrow. I can't believe how fast the weeks fly by. It's nice to have the piece and quiet on the weekends but I'd rather have the " Worker B's" here working on the house.
