the trench for the water pipe to the house
When I walked up from the barn yesterday (which I had spent the afternoon, sewing) there were three machines going to town, moving dirt. Troy was moving the big pile that was behind the house and piling it closer to the drive way to the basement and Brent was using the bob cat to move the dirt pile over to the front yard corner. Mark was filling in the trench that they had dug for the electrical pipes. They were all going as fast as they could...it was funny. They looked like "busy little bees". Then, it thundered and the rain poured down! It all turned to MUD so they had to stop. When the rain stopped, they loaded all the machines up and went home. It was like "de ja vu"....all the mud from last winter.
