There is nothing very different about southerners-except for the way they think and feel and act.

The last trip to the garden
resting on the swing after picking lots from the garden
The day before Genavive had to go home, we made one last trip to the garden to pick what needed to be picking. ....and there was a LOT! The gardens were just a part of the fun and things that Genavive is going to remember in her memories of Oona and Papa.
My name is Barbara Jean and I live in "Sweet Home Alabama". I was born and raised in Florida but after 59 years I have finally gotten to live where there are four seasons. My husband of 45 years and I live on 22 acres in northern Alabama. We built a new house five years ago and love living in the middle of the woods. Every day is an adventure.
