Today was a busy day here at Brambly Pines. The guys came to seal the basement walls. First they sprayed this black " stuff" on them and then they nailed this fabric looking stuff to the cement blocks. It's guaranteed for 100 years. I wonder who will be living in the house in a 100 years. Next the cement guys came, along with the cement truck. They poured the floor in the safe room, under the stair well and the basement floor. When they were done, I wrote the date in the corner of the basement as you come in the garage door. This afternoon, Troy put down drain pipe up against the outside walls and then dumped gravel on it and on top of that , dirt. One of the huge mountains of dirt got a little smaller. He's coming back tomorrow to finish back filling against all the walls. They are also going to get the safe room ceiling ready to be poured with cement. Next will be digging the footers to the house. I can't wait for them to start on the actual house.
