The basement walls are done, along with the retaining walls. The next step is to seal them so the basement doesn't leak. The hallway with the steel door jam will be our " safe room" to run too when we have tornado warnings. It will have two steel doors .One at each end of it. The other hallway next to the safe room will be where the stairs go up to the house from the basement. We will have storage under them. We will keep the kitty carriers there so we can grab them and put them in the safe room when we need them.
