Barb's New Ride!

Let me tell ya another " money story". We got our income tax money back a few weeks ago and there was a letter with it saying that Chuck made a mistake on it and they sent us four times the amount that we thought we were getting back. What a nice surprise!!! Chuck said we should use our "new found money" on a riding lawn mower for me. We set out yesterday afternoon to look for a used one. There are several places around here that have them. We went to two of them and the used ones were really junky and Chuck would constantly be fixing it. We decided to go and check out the prices of new ones at different places. First place we went was Walmart....then down the street was Sears. Sears had one for a decent price and it was pretty too...lol. We decided to buy the Craftman one. There was enough money left over to go to Tractor Supply and get the dump cart to go on the back of it. The guy at Sears let us use his ramps to get it on and off the truck. Get this...we didn't even have to pay a deposit or anything for using them. The guys just said....bring them back when you get done using them. (small town thing) It didn't take me long to learn how to drive it and mow with it once Chuck got it out of the truck. Chuck called it " Barb's new ride". I love it!!!!
