Saturday, Shell, Chuck and I went to Charles Seifried's photo class and hike in the forest. He was the photographer of our " Alabama Canyons" books and we met him at a book signing in December. Charles has taken photos all over the world and has been to the White House to take pictures of several Presidents. He has made a good living at his work. We were lucky to get to see a lot of his pictures and he told us how he took them. There were around 20 of us on the hike. It was a beautiful day and we all not only enjoyed the scenery but having Charlie along with us on the hike was extra special. ( the picture of the flowering tree was a " Mountain Laurel".....so pretty!)
