There is nothing very different about southerners-except for the way they think and feel and act.

Picking daffodils....
The second day of the visit, we were headed to the forest for a day hike but stopped to pick daffodils growing along the side of the road. Papa cut a water bottle in half for our vase in the pick up ( no bud vase in the truck but now have a permanent vase in there).
My name is Barbara Jean and I live in "Sweet Home Alabama". I was born and raised in Florida but after 59 years I have finally gotten to live where there are four seasons. My husband of 45 years and I live on 22 acres in northern Alabama. We built a new house five years ago and love living in the middle of the woods. Every day is an adventure.
