Painting......

Since the counter tops in the tacky trailer were "mauve", I had to come up with colors that would go with them, without painting the whole inside of the TT "PINK". So, I picked chocolate brown and tan. Off to Walmart we went. After all, why pay top dollar for a couple of gallons of paint to go on the walls of a $3,999 tacky trailer? Every wall in the TT , but the living room, was sponged painted two different colors of green. It was pretty bad!!! The living room was dark, dark burgundy. Not only were these colors awful but the walls were very dirty. I started in the kitchen first. I don't know if it was because this TT was built in 1963 ( I was only 13 years old then) or if all TT's have fake wood paneling for all it's walls. I managed to get the kitchen and the living room painted this trip. What a big difference it made..... at least it was "cleaner".
