New porch tea cart! |
Nothing says summer like " watermelons". The front porch is all decked out with my watermelon " stuff". I had made a watermelon quilt years and years ago. I always got it out for the summer. ...along with the other watermelons that I have collected over the years. I remember when you could buy 5 watermelons for $1!! Yes, that is true!!! In 1970 there would be pick up trucks full, parked along the sides of the road in places, with a big sign...." 5 for $1". Now you are lucky to find one under $5. Boy how times have changed everything. ....even watermelon buying.
