Rock we had lunch on |
On our second day of Spring Break, we packed up the kayaks, the canoe and our lunch and headed to Smith Lake. Shell and I each took one of the kayaks while Chuck and Genavive took the canoe. Genavive helped paddle for a little while but then took the advantage of just riding along and enjoying the sights. There were two grottos that each had a waterfall. It was so pretty in each of them, with the rocks, ferns and the waterfall. When it came time for lunch, we landed on a big rock and enjoyed eating and feeding a school of fish. It was soon time to get back into the kayaks and canoe and paddle back to the truck. It was a great Sunday morning on the lake.
