The guys showed up at 7:00 am this morning to start digging the footers in the basement. It sure didn't take them long. I remember when I was little, my dad had his own construction company and built houses. Of course in the " olden days" they had to dig the footers by hand and that was a whole day's job. By noon, the footers where dug and two cement truck deliveries were made and the footers where all poured. See how RED our dirt/clay is? People keep telling us how good our dirt is. All I know is...I can grow just about anything in it and it sure is RED!!!!
