Instead of putting Fall decorations at the back porch this year, I decided to decorate the gate post so people would see them from the road.  We never close the gate any more.  In fact, the last time it was closed was three years ago.  We opened it November 7, 2009 and it's been open ever since.  Remember how we pulld up to the gate to open it and there was a big " Welcome Home!" banner on it?  Who knew, three years ago, that Shell would be moving up the same time of year.   Life is always full of surprises!
