I had never been in a carriage much less a ride in one. I always thought they looked like something from a fairy tale. I saw them at Oktoberfest last year, going around the streets of Cullman. I just knew it would be expensive to ride in one but was I surprised. When we asked the price, it was only $3 a person. Of course it was a short ride but at least I can say I have been on a horse drawn carriage ride and for about 15 minutes, I was in my own fairy tale.
