A couple of mornings ago, we woke up to a dead tree down across the drive way.  It did rain the night before but we didn't have a bad storm or anything.  We didn't even hear the tree fall.  Fall it did, all the way across the drive way and into the yard.  Chuck had to get the chain saw out and cut it up before we could even get the explorer out of the basement.  After cutting it all up, he hauled it with "little red" and the cart down to the fire pit area.  We now have our first wood cut for the pit.  We should have enough pine wood for Fall and all of Winter.  We still have a big pile of trees that they cut down to clear the area to build the house.  I'm glad we finally have a way to get rid of them all now.
