Lady Melanie came up to "spend the day" on Labor Day.  She brought all the fixings for us to make another batch of pear honey.  The jars of gold!  It is always so much fun to have someone else in my kitchen to cook and chat with.  The whole day just flew by.  It didn't seem like we had cut up 12 cups of pears and stirred and cooked the honey for over and hour.  Before we knew it, it was time for Melanie to load up her car with her jars of gold and a dozen eggs for Paw, from the girls.   It's always so much fun when Melanie comes to visit at Brambly Pines.
