Winter George

Poor George kitty has to be out in this really cold weather. I just can't bring him in the house with my other two kitties.....BIG time cat fights would happen!!! Chuck made a cover for his kitty bed that I had on the porch to the TT. I moved it over to the front porch of the house so I can tend to George without having to go over to the TT. I put a fleece kitty blanket in on top of his fleece bed, in the box. Just before I go to bed at night, I put a "kitty warmer" ( hand warmer) in his bed and it lasts through the night. He just purrs and purrs when I put it in there. He sure has come a long way since he showed up on the land, this summer. He wouldn't even let us touch him and now if I sit down on the porch, he crawls into my lap and doesn't want me to get up. I have to give him warm water twice a day because his water freezes during the day and also during the night. He's happy to have his warm cardboard box kitty bed. He spends day and night in it. It's suppose to warm up into the 50's for a couple of days. I'm sure George will be happy to go " hunting" and running all over the land again for a few days before it gets back down to freezing again. I keep telling him that he sure is lucky that he found us this summer....people who love kitties.
