Fall colors and pumpkins!

We decided to take a " day trip" to Tennessee today. We left here around 10:00 am and didn't get back home until 6:30 this evening. What a fun autumn day! The farther we drove north...the prettier the hillsides got and the more color we saw. As we drove down one road, we saw a wagon FULL of little pumpkins. I don't know if it was just for decoration or if the little pumpkins were for sale. We didn't go very far after that and saw all these funky, fun pumpkins in these people's front yard. I told Chuck that I wanted to go back and take pictures of them so he turned around. When we got up to the pumpkins, we noticed they had price tags on them. I was so excited that they were for sale! I saw a couple that I would have loved to have on our porch but narrowed it down to just one. It's the neatest " real pumpkin" that I've ever had. It doesn't look real. We only paid $8 for it. At a pumpkin patch in Florida, I'm sure it would have cost $28! I was so excited to have my fantastic pumpkin....it made my day...and the day had just begun.
