Here are the pictures from our picnic lunch with Davy Crockett in the square of down town Lawrenceburg, yesterday. The statue was erected in 1922....telling about Davy's life. The other memorial was from the Mexican war. I don't really know much about Davy Crockett...only there was a TV show about him back in the ummmmmm the 70's? I guess I need to look for a book about Davy and learn another History lesson.
