There isn't much left in the garden. The hot weather has put an end to it all before it's time. There is okra, my strawberry plants, some green peppers and my lavender zinnia's. I still need to pull up the tomatoes and till half of the main garden. There are lots of gourds in the gourd patch and I have four pumpkins still in the pumpkin patch. I guess I won't pull all of that up until into October. The books all say to keep your gardens tilled during the winter because the freezing cold will kill the weed seeds and the bugs. So I guess I will even spend time down at the gardens in the winter. It's one of my favorite places to be.
