NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Well, remember when I said Sipsey wasn't the one laying the eggs? I was SOOOOOO right because in the past two days, I found out that Sipsey isn't " one of the GIRLS" because she is a HE! Yep....he " cock a doodle dooed" this morning. He's starting to get the " spurs" that roosters get on the back of their legs and his tail feathers are translucent green....which only roosters get. What's a mother to do?.....I can't give him away....he's one of my " chickens". I will keep him as long as he's nice to me and doesn't turn mean. I have been picking him up a lot so he knows to be nice. I also looked up in the " raising chickens for dummies" book and you can't tell the difference between fertilized eggs and unfertilized ones when it comes to eating them( they don't taste any different). I won't let any of them hatch because I don't want any little baby chicks running around. They will fit through the yard fence any ways ...and would run all over Brambly Pines.....out there some place with " Reba". We haven't seen her in about a week now. Chuck thinks he has heard her in the back woods but I think she is gone. So, now I have "the girls" and " Sipster".
