"The girls and Sipster" got a new watering can for their yard. This one holds three gallons and keeps the water cooler for a longer length of time. They LOVED it! Once one of them discovered it, all of them had to go check it out and drink from it. Three of the girls..( the red ones) are giving me at least one egg a day now. Yesterday, I even got two. I think the two whites will start laying soon. One of them laid a " soft shell" egg last week. So far, we have gotten close to two dozen little brown eggs. I look forward to going down to the " mansion" every morning and evening to see if they have given me " an egg". Plus, I love hearing Sipster "crow". He usually does it early in the mornings like the " myth" says.....but roosters can actually crow any time they feel like it and some crow all day long. Sipster can crow all he wants because the mansion is far enough away from the house that we can't hear him.
