My summer flowers are really pretty. It's neat having flowers blooming all summer. I have so many kinds that I couldn't grow in Florida, so that makes it really fun. I planted zinnias from seeds and they should be blooming by the time Shell and Genavive come up in three weeks. " The Lady of Carmichael Hall" sent me some " moon flower seeds" and they came up within days after I planted them. I can't wait for them to bloom.....at night of course. I have my herbs planted in Mom's pretty cement planter. I didn't want to have to go all the way down to the garden to pick my herbs when I was cooking in the kitchen. I've used them several times since I planted them. I've never been able to grow " dill" until up here. I like using it in a cucumber salad recipe. It's soooo good. Oh! Chuck's sunflowers are getting ready to bloom. I can't wait to have cut sunflowers in a vase on the porch! Happy Summer ya'll!
