The last two days, I've picked a big bowl of Alabama pole beans, two cucumbers ..which were the best, crunchiest cucumbers I've ever eaten in my whole life!.....another bowl of rattle snake beans, a couple more summer squash, a HUGE acorn squash and some " hot peppers" which I gave to Raimey. Oh yeah, I picked a handful of yellow cherry tomatoes. Tonight's dinner consisted of cucumber salad, steamed summer squash, thymed green beans and pot roast. It all came out of the garden....of course not the pot roast, silly. Even the fresh herbs came from my herb garden. (dill and thyme) It's time to pick lettuce again . Every day there is something to pick....it's so much fun planning dinner around what I pick from the garden.
