Charlotte's Mom had invited me to come to Nashville for four days with Charlotte. Charlotte went up to run in a 1/2 marathon on Saturday,along with 36,000 other runners. Friday afternoon, her and I went down town so she could sign up, get her shirt and shop for the marathon. While she was doing that, I took a walk down town to the river and back. It was a little weird being a tourist by myself but it was fun. It was crowded beyond belief because of all the runners being in town. I even went into a couple of shops and ended up buying a " NASHVILLE" coffee mug so when I'm sitting on the front porch, drinking my coffee out of it, I will have the memories of this trip.
