Botanical Gardens

On our fourth day of the visit we took off to spend the day in Huntsville. First we went downtown and found two old hardware( over 100 years old) stores. They both had lots of old timey interesting things to buy and that we did. Before heading to the Botanical Gardens we stopped and had lunch at Barnhill buffet. Lots of good food and it was all you can eat. I topped my meal off with blackberry cobbler with soft swirl ice cream. We really needed to walk our lunch off at the gardens, believe me. It was just beautiful with all the Spring flowers and they had just finished building several tree houses for you to climb and play in. They also had a "children's garden" that was a hit with even the adults. It was worth the trip to see it all.
