This is the third time that Shell and I have followed Chuck, driving a U Haul truck to the land. This time was the most stressful. A long 14 hour drive. We did stop at the Alabama Welcome Center for our picnic lunch as usual. Yes, I did finally ask the nice receptionists about the funny " Place Watermelon Rinds here" sign. They said that they want people to put the rinds under the sign so the bees will come to the rinds and not the other garbage cans. Never heard of such a thing but there are a lot of " Alabamian things" we have never heard of...ha. We drove on and on and on until it was dark....but we finally made it. I've never been so happy to be at the land in all of the ten years we have owned it. We were HOME!!
